Examples of inappropriate use of hypnosis
Hypnosis can be a useful tool when practiced ethically, with informed consent, appropriate training, and clear professional boundaries. This article examines examples of inappropriate hypnosis, including coercive demonstrations, unsupported therapeutic claims, violations of confidentiality, and techniques used outside a practitioner’s competence.
